I Want to Hibernate and Read

I just ran across this list. Check it out.

How many of these have you read? Which ones spark your interest?

Happy Weekend! Gil, Piers, Wallace and I are heading to my cousin’s wedding in Atlanta, and as is the family custom, it’s going to be entertaining.

I miss all my blogging pals. I’ll be back and posting more regularly once the end-of-school madness settles.

  1. Great List! Quite a few titles I haven’t heard of and others I want to try. I scored 6 and a 1/2. (Randy Pausch, Marquez, Zadie Smith, Mandela, Eugenides, Reading Lolita, and I’ve just started Me Talk Pretty One Day). Hope the wedding was as enjoyable as you expected!

  2. Well, I’ve only read 3 of the 47, but it’s three more than I thought I would have!

    4) Tiny Beautiful Things by Cheryl Strayed. After reading Wild, I couldn’t get enough of her, so I listened to this on Audible, which she narrates herself. It was hilarious and heart wrenching at once…sobbed, laughed and everything in between.

    23) The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch. Talk about changing your whole perspective on life. One of those that I must reread every now and then just to refresh my attitude.

4.) One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. This and In the Time of Cholera…what a love story!

Thanks for the fun link. I hope to read some more stuff from there. I hope you have a great trip and the wedding is…well…entertaining πŸ™‚

Hope to see you soon. We’re winding down here for the end of the school year too, but winding down just means a sudden surge of madness before we get to exhale πŸ™‚
